Austin jewelry designer, Alexandra Sheppard, was born and raised in Michigan. After graduating the University of Texas with an engineering degree she worked for several years designing circuits. Alexandra discovered her meticulous attention to detail translated well to jewelry design and found she had an eye for coordinating fashion with artistic elements. After receiving numerous compliments from both friends and stranger, she began designing her own jewelry that combines a flair for artistic design with Austin’s uncomplicated, laid-back culture. Her use of gemstone and beads can be worn every day either dressed up or down.
