I buy wood slabs from local Hill Country wood yards and use them to create what I see in each individual piece. Before use the slabs must be dried, leveled and sanded. I use epoxy resin to fill the cracks and also make river pieces. Usually charcuterie boards, serving trays, and cutting boards are what is made. Sometimes benches and small tables (coffee tables, end tables, entry tables, etc...). Each piece is unique. I like to say that “nothing is perfect but everything is special“. I also make coasters, custom recipe boards, and various laser engraved and CNC routed items.
